More storage, better comments... and more!
More updates:
- As before, text storage is unlimited... However, we have tripled the photo storage amount to 30MB so you can store about 750 photos on your space for others to see. Some of you discovered this earlier today... sneaky.
- Comments are no longer limited to a few sentences and can actually include hyperlinks. (Hyperlinks in comments use the "nofollow" tag automatically to dissuade comment spammers)
- Contact cards and "gleams" in MSN Messenger have really improved. They are more reliable (no more false positives!), they look "cleaner" as part of the main window, and they have a subtle (but eye-catching) animation that I can't stop staring at. You can also drag cards around on your desktop... and there are some more obvious entry points to view your own card (to see how others see you!) like clicking on your display picture in the main window.
- We have a new homepage and sign-up experience! Check it out: http://spaces.msn.com. We also have a full page of recently updated spaces which you can use to find interesting spaces.
That's it for now. There are a bunch of things I haven't talked about, but I think I covered the biggies. But we aren't finished yet - expect to see some good stuff over the next few weeks/months as some of the other things we have been working on start to see the light of day! Of course, I can't say any more than that at this time ;)
